When a contribution is made through ourtributefund.com the contribution will go towards helping the family cover the funeral service and final preparation costs of the funeral home or cremation center that is hosting the service or memorial website.
Contrary to typical crowdfunding websites, ourtributefund.com is dealing with the funeral home directly. So, the net funds raised ONLY go towards help with covering the funeral expenses.
Please note that the financial institutions charge 3% for credit card processing, ourtributefund.com collects 5% platform fee from the donation amount. The payments of the net funds are sent through automatic deposit to the funeral home’s account at the end of each calendar month.
For example: When John D. makes a contribution on September 30th, it will be transferred with all other contributions made in the month of September no later than the 15th of October (the following month). When Jane S. makes a contribution towards the same service, but makes it on October 1st. those funds will be sent off with all other funds in the month of October (no later than the 15th of November).
As part of our Anti-Fraud Policy, Ourtributefund.com does not send funds to private individuals personal bank accounts. Ourtributefund.com is not meant to raise funds for anything other than end of life costs of the funeral home that is hosting the memorial website.
